I Believe.

Maybe its the recent episodes of X-Files talking, but I feel as though I need to get this out in the open.

I believe in the paranormal, ESP, Alien life forms, and super human abilities.
By paranormal, I mean Ghosts, werewolves vampires, etc- and by ESP, I mean psychological phenomenon, reading minds, connections with the dead, fore sight, etc-

I have never seen any of these things before, but a ghost. Once.
It makes me wonder about the after life- when it comes to ghosts, anyway. How is it your physical self be portrayed as an almost invisible being like a projection or a hologram? Its spooky.
A co worker of mine's mother-in-law passed away recently, to whom she was close to. After the funeral, they felt her presence in the house. They also told me that she saw condensation on half of her bedroom window, and wanted my opinion.
This is a fun game for me.
I can devise a logical explanation for it, like the difference in temperatures of the glass, like an air vent blowing warm air onto the glass cooled from outside.
Or I can simply say "Ghost". I asked her if she wanted the logical explanation, or what I really think it could be. They wanted to hear both.
Funny thing was, they wanted to believe it was her mother-in-law's spirit. Every piece of logic I threw in the way was shot down, because, the heater was broken, and the air vent was on the other side of the room, and it hasn't rained in weeks.
Second thing I was informed of was their son slept o the couch, and felt someone pull his blanket over his feet. Instantly shot up, and no one was there.
I said to my co-worker, that if this is the only time it happens, and you felt the same way with this phenomena as you did around your mother-in-law, it was most likely her. Saying her good-byes.
They smiled, and almost went to tears in hearing this.
Their family believes in spirits walking among us, even if it is a short time.

Creatures like werewolves and vampires, can be difficult to believe. Its a long shot for me, but I'm still open to it. It seems unlikely, but mutations happen all the time. Not at as fast as it is portrayed, but still. I'm sort of illiterate on this particular part of paranormal, partly because of the movies like twilight, making me want to forget the possibility of a person who will drink my blood and turn me into a human looking mosquito. I have heard of people drinking blood, and others bathing in it to try to stay young.
Zombies though, I think still could have a slight potential.
Voodoo Zombies would be a load of crap unless they come from the morgue. No Zombie, Voodoo or viral, or whatever cannot break through a casket, and dig 6 feet up through dirt, and possibly roots. The bodies that are buried are rigid, and already begun the decaying process. the muscles would not be able to allow the zombie to move, much less dig, walk, or even bite. Rising from the grave in any way is logically impossible. A viral zombie, is different. So far the most accurate portrayal of a zombie Apocalypse id 28 days and 28 weeks later. Rage virus. Infects the still living body and drives them insane with rage (hence, the RAGE virus) transmitted through bodily fluids. Rabies seems to be the closest relative to this fictional virus, but a shorter life span, and longer to find out your infected.
It is scary to think if someone spliced rabies with the flu, that's all it will take to exterminate the human race.

ESP and psychological phenomenon-
It has been proven in many studies that we only use a small portion of our brains, like 10%. What the hell is the other 90% for? We have a lot of growing room there, and I'm thinking some of us have already "unlocked" more of our brains. Those few can somewhat read minds, or simply empathize with others. People like me, I can feel strong emotions from others. I sense anger and joy mostly. I don't need to see people for those, i just feel it. Like in an amusement park, I can walk around, and not ride anything, and still have a great time, just by being around people who are having a good time- Which is fantastic! Other places like a crowded store, there are too many emotions, I cannot process them, and I get overwhelmed and need to find some solitude, like a bathroom stall or changing room. It doesn't happen often thank goodness. Lately I think I'm either reading peoples minds, or telling others what to do/think/feel on a psychological level. Not mind control, but planting an idea and let it go from there.
I posted something about kids being f'd up, then i see something about the same topic from a celeb. Odd. It happened again with another post with a friend who has not read my blogs. I tried a little test today at work. I tried to persuade a co-worker to make me some ice cream, either they ignored it, or it just didn't work. No big deal, working process anyway.
Telekinesis is real. Haven't seen it first hand, but spoken to someone who has done it. Lots of energy is needed to do such a thing. There is a movie where 3 guys get that ability, and one goes nuts, but i forget the name of it. They were able to use it to fly, in a sense.
I have also seen similar abilities used to cleanse a home from a negative manifestation. First hand. Quite an experience to witness.

Aliens. I mean, come on. Look into the sky at night. Look at all those stars. Those could ALL be Suns for other planets. Several planets could be around a single star. We have 10 (last i heard anyway planet X has been discovered on a vertical orbit instead of horizontal like the rest of the planets. But being in space, how can it be decided which way is which?) So billions of stars, and potentially even more billions of planets AND moons. I refuse to believe that with all those planets and moons, there is no other life form on some of those planets. Even a sentient species, which may or may not have discovered interstellar travel. Some of them may have visited Earth, and we never knew (or the government covered it up in area 51, whichever you want to believe) It is possible they look similar to us, or even identical but such small things we see it as a minor deformity. Or, we could have been observed and tested on from the start. Another species could have seen the birth of humanity and found it interesting to watch us mature as a species. It could be, we could be an experiment from an alien species. The dinosaurs were first, and something killed them right? Experiment failure. We ALSO could have been vowed as the most violent species in the Milky Way, because our unsatisfiable urge to kill, and our other violent natures. But lucky to the Galaxy we are still early in our space experiments, and cannot send life past a certain points. Our speed for it is slow, and our weapons are primitive. Violent among ourselves and things we do not understand. Kill it, then find out what it was. Any alien set foot on Earth would almost certainly be suicide. "Let the humans destroy themselves, we do not need to interfere." Could be a galactical law by now, seeing our violence and greed. Our thirst for blood, hunger for wealth, and primal urge to destroy things we fear, because we don't understand.
In Avatar the Na'vi (i think that's right) say "I see you" Their way of love, it means more than the words- at least to me. "I see you", "I understand you. I recognize your existence, and do not shame you. For any pain I cause you, you have my deepest sympathy, and I am grateful for your sacrifices. Your spirit will live on."
That's how I mean it when I say "I see you" (unless I'm playing peek-a-boo)
